The Coalition to End Child Detention is

Organizing Against the New Caliburn Site 

 

On November 8th, 2019, we learned that Caliburn, the for profit company which ran Homestead, and makes money from imprisoning children, is constructing a new facility just East of El Paso in the Montana Vista area. We held our first rally at the construction site on November 15, and there we learned that the community members living near the site were lied to about what was being built. They were told it was a school.

We are committed to taking a stand against for profit Caliburn using El Paso as its backdrop for imprisoning children.  Please join us, every Saturday through the end of December, as we rally against Caliburn and rally to end child detention.
